Tutors:

Course Entry Recommendations

  • Four big teeth
  • Minimum age of nine years
  • A year's music tuition on recorder is strongly recommended

Instrument

  • The Music Centre has a number of trumpets to hire to first year students.
  • Before purchasing an instrument, please consult with the Tutor.

Course Music

  • You will be expected to purchase a tutor book.
  • A plastic clearfile is required.

Practice

  • It is important that your child establishes a routine of regular practice. A child who does not practice will hinder the progress of the class and is likely to lose interest. The Tutor has the authority to remove a child from a class if regular practice is not being maintained.
