Ann started learning the violin at the age of 3 obtaining her Associate of Music Australia at 14, when she began teaching.
She was a prfessional orchestral player and teacher in Sydney where she was a full-time member of the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra.
Since coming to New Zealand in 1996, she has continued teaching and been a full-time member of the NZSO for several years before resigning for family reasons. She now teaches both privately and at KMC, as well as being a member of Orchestra Wellington.
hopes to inspire a love of violin and introduce her students to the joy and wonders of orchestral playing, which was so much a part of her own childhood.
